Alain Monod has been a member of Switzerland's The Young Gods since 1989. Under several aliases, including Al Mono and Nox, he has manipulated the samplers for The Young Gods in his unusual and innovative way. One of the most influential groups in the world, The Young Gods have played a pivotal role in the shaping of the current industrial and electronica scene. Now, Mutant Sound System is pleased to release the so-called solo-project of Monod alter ego Al Comet.

Comet is an entrancing instrumental journey of unexpected samples and atmospheric chords and sounds. Al Comet weaves an intoxicating netherworld out of pulsating synthesizers, undulating ambient tones, and sensuous enveloping chords. This sonic jigsaw puzzle is a work of art-very outre and enigmatic. Truly exciting mood music for mad moderns.
